Overview

Samagra Interiors was pricing every home by hand: site visits, spreadsheets and back-and-forth before a customer ever saw a number. We built one platform that runs the whole journey from first estimate to final payment. Customers get an instant, room-by-room quote from a 7-step calculator. The team works those leads through a CRM pipeline, sends branded and versioned quotes, turns them into invoices and collects payment. The admin controls every price through a no-code catalog builder with draft/publish versioning, and access is enforced at the database level with Firestore security rules and server-side API routes.

Challenge

•Turning a site-visit-and-spreadsheet pricing process into an instant, accurate online estimate
•Pricing that depends on room, unit size, core material, finish and brand, plus civil work measured in several ways
•Leads, quotes, invoices and payments spread across separate tools with no shared history
•Editing a quote without silently repricing lines the customer had already agreed to
•Letting the business change its own prices safely, without a developer and without breaking live quotes
•A growing team that needed clear limits on who sees and changes what

Solution

•Built a 7-step guided calculator that loads each step only when needed and checks every input again on the server before a quote is saved
•Connected the calculator to a small CRM so every quote enters a sales pipeline with owners, tags and follow-ups
•Made every quote save a full snapshot, so prices are kept, versions can be compared and any version can be restored with a reason
•Linked invoices to their quotes, recorded partial payments safely under concurrent edits and added online payment through Cashfree
•Gave the admin a no-code catalog builder with numbered versions, preview and rollback, and routed manager changes through approval
•Enforced roles in Firestore security rules and server-side API routes, not just the UI, and covered pricing, invoices and permissions with 12 Jest test suites

Quote editor that keeps quoted prices: lines you didn't change keep their original rates, with full version history, comparison and restore
Branded PDF quotes emailed through Resend, sent only after the latest version is reviewed, with every send logged
One-click quote-to-invoice conversion, gap-free invoice numbering, partial payments and a Cashfree payment gateway
Dashboard with pipeline value, conversion rate, average quote value and charts by status, property type and room
No-code Calculator Builder for property types, rooms, products, materials, finishes and civil items, with draft → publish versioning and rollback
Admin, Manager and Member roles with per-person permissions and an admin approval queue for sensitive changes
Global search, a self-clearing notification bell and CSV export protected against formula injection
